Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Influencer Kit
We've done some awesome work for the Warhammer franchise at Fluid. As massive fans of the 40K universe in particular, we were thrilled when Fatshark approached us to create an influencer kit for their much anticipated title Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Fatshark wanted the kit to celebrate the game's release and feel as though it was pulled straight out of Darktide world - so we got to work!
After opening the kit, influencers are greeted with a specimen bag containing some delightfully disgusting Nurgle slime, a bespoke recipe created by Fluid. We wanted the slime to look and feel like it had been collected from a Tertium Hive on the planet Atoma Prime, the setting for Darktide's conflict. Revealed beneath the slime specimen is a brutal and imposingly-sized metal crate - akin to a weapons container that might be found on a Warhammer 40K battlefield.
Entry to the crate is not so simple however, with its door featuring a Tertium engraved padlock. So, recipients have to delve into the slime in search of the key, before gaining access to the crate and an array of Darktide content - the majority of which we created and/or was presented exclusively for the kit. As Warhammer fans, we were delighted to develop the kit and thrilled to see the fantastic coverage and feedback from both the influencers and Fatshark, aiding the game’s PC release.
