Gamescom 2025… the buzz is back!

The unanimous verdict from everyone we spoke to: what a show. With record visitor numbers and Opening Night Live views through the roof, everyone we met at Kolnmesse was loving the hype.

From Fluid’s usual spot at the heart of the buzzing UKIE stand, Stacey, Lewis and Oscar racked up an impressive 55 meetings including sessions with Ubisoft, Gameloft, Neowiz, Team17, Krafton and Bandai, and chatted through some massive projects in the pipeline.

Away from the meetings, we enjoyed the usual German hospitality, racking up the steps, pretzels and kölsche count… sadly, our packed schedule meant we passed on the karaoke, but we found time to stop by the famous puppet bar, and yes, caught whispers (and a few sniffles) of the infamous Gamescom Flu.

Our show highlights? Opening Night Live which kicked off the hype, dropping reveals from Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Hollow Night: Silkson and Resident Evil: Requiem and setting the tone for a record breaking week with 72 million viewers online. This year we also noticed Asian publishers had a huge presence, underlining their growing influence across the industry.

And as always, we love seeing our work in the wild - this year we caught our Godbreakers trailer for Thunderful looking beautiful on the big screen.

Gamescom 2025 was bigger, busier and buzzier than ever - we’re already hyped for 2026!
