Except… it’s probably not probably. We’re confident in saying, no, these are the best influencer kits in the world - and it’s why we’ve been trusted by so many of the biggest names in the industry to conceptualise and develop some truly stunning kits over more than 20 years of game launches.

Memorability in the design of our kits is of the utmost importance, and we ensure that they provide long lasting and exclusive keepsakes that influencers and media outlets will want to hold on to long after they’ve finished the game. So much thought goes into every little detail - all aspects of the kits should either have a feeling of being pulled straight out of the game world, or have their exclusivity emphasised through their presentation.

GOD OF WAR

Prior to the launch and reimagining of the iconic God of War series back in 2018, Sony briefed us to create a bespoke, one of a kind media kit that would visually depict the new narrative, draw inspiration from Norse mythology, and showcase the game’s protagonists Kratos and Atreus.

We created over 2400 kits to be delivered across 35 global territories, with premium production values, tactile materials and exclusive keepsakes informing media and key influencers in an engaging and stylistic manner which promoted social media coverage.

The kits came in a beautifully detailed semi-transparent cover that opened to reveal a monotone and red Nordic iconography styled box that opened at the middle. Inside featured Kratos on the left and Atreus on the right, with the key art at the centre. On the back of the key art was a message from Cory Barlog, the game’s legendary creative director, that also featured the kit’s exclusive personal number. Included in the kit was a booklet that contained some stunning pieces of concept art, a bespoke review disc, nordic detailed bookmark to reference Atreus’ journal, a gold pewter sticker with nordic iconography and a battle scarred metal coin - you can check them out in the images and videos below.

Two Special Editions were also created for Santa Monica Studio: with staff receiving an additional Nordic hymn sheet; and an ultra VIP edition of 3 - which included kit #0001 presented to Cory Barlog. This saw the media kit presented within a bespoke wooden box, with the wood being hand stained before being laser engraved with Nordic insignia and the game’s release date.

WIPEOUT

We were thrilled to create a set of limited edition influencer kits to promote the release of Wipeout Omega Collection - a remastered collection of the original and iconic Wipeout games for the PlayStation 4. 

Wipeout has always had a distinctly retro futuristic style, so we utilised a range of premium materials and special production finishes to incorporate this aesthetic across three editions – Standard, Ultimate and New Ship. All kits were designed, produced and dispatched within just 2 months of the project briefing, and gained fantastic feedback from both fans and Sony alike.

The three editions featured a cohesive style whilst still retaining a sense of individuality - playing on elements of the original Wipeout branding and previously unseen concept art from the games archives. We identified five key pillars of the series that had to be included in the kit - legacy, nostalgia, music, technology and speed. 

Perhaps the stand out of the three kits was the New Ship edition, which featured a stunning 3D printed Wipeout ship (a Tigron K-VSR, a new addition to the franchise we wanted to highlight), which appeared to somehow float on its own! By utilising a customised magnetic LED base plate, we were able to make the ship literally levitate - playing on the iconic anti gravity premise of which Wipeout is best known for.

CYBERPUNK 2077

Easily one of the most anticipated games of the past 20 years, the hype for Cyberpunk 2077 was at fever pitch when CD Projekt Red approached us to create an influencer kit for the launch of their dark future dystopian RPG. 

We wanted the kit to firstly play on the vibrant yellow and black brand colours of Cyberpunk 2077, utilising an array of technical and futuristic-referencing materials and production finishes to create a stunning keepsake for CD Projekt Red’s top influencers. The kit was presented as a brash equipment case - that could be used to traffic weapons or other contraband across the streets of Night City.

Details and references to the game’s world were abundant throughout the kit, with its inner lid engraved with the mantra of the infamous Valentinos gang, ‘Somos la Muerte’ - translating to ‘We are Death’. The Valentinos gang are referenced again with the addition of a stunning and bespoke leather jacket created by the Fluid team. The jacket played on the Valentinos’ high octane nature, catholic roots and cartel style.

Fluorescent, acrylic data cards were also added to fit with the overriding theme of tech obsession and dependence within the game, which contained marketing/social media details. You can check out more details in the images below.

Both CD Projekt Red and Bandai Namco were thrilled with the results of the kit and felt it encapsulated both the vibrancy of the brand and the world of Night City.

CODE VEIN

A Soulslike anime slasher with an emphasis on blood and vampiric creatures, Code Vein released back in 2019 and wowed audiences with its visually arresting universe of decay, grandeur and bloodthirst. 

As huge fans of all things vampires and the Soulslike genre (having worked on kits on the Dark Souls franchise in the past), the Fluid team were delighted to produce a global influencer kit to announce Code Vein and build hype prior to its release.

We took emblematic details from the world and etched them into every facet of the kit - from the Vein insignia, detailed character cards for each revenant, 3D printed Blood Beads, and in one of our favourite additions to the many, many kits we’ve made over the years, real world seeds for a Socotra Tree.

A Socotra Tree, more commonly referred to as a Blood, or Dragon Blood Tree (noticing a theme here?), produces a dark red, blood like sap. When cut open, the tree literally appears as though it’s bleeding, creating a visually striking image that we felt perfectly encapsulated the blood filled world of Code Vein. Influencers could take the seeds and make their own gardens a bit more vampire!

MINECRAFT

To promote the launch of the Minecraft Dungeons, a spinoff to the best selling video game in history, we created a 100 Edition Influencer Kit for Microsoft and developer Mojang Studios to distribute to their top influencers. The kit turned out to be a blockbusting success, with over 53 million views garnered from content creators all over the world.

Crafted using sustainably sourced materials, we designed and produced a rigid box recreation of the in-game Mission Loot Chest, sized at an immense 494 x D 374 x H 372 mm. The chest was lined and wrapped with Colorplan Pebble to reflect a stone aesthetic, with the lid featuring 3 striking foils, suggestive of the in-game chest’s illumination.

The chest contained an inner tray and 4 inner boxes, which utilised a range of tactile papers to represent different Minecraft Elements - Redstone, Sand, Obsidian, Anthracite and Lava. The boxes contained numbered and personalised panels, keys with XBOX Game Pass redemption codes, as well as a range of bespoke goods and supplied Minecraft merchandise, including toys, guidebooks, LEGO sets and clothing.

Microsoft and Mojang were thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive reactions to the unboxings online, with audiences commenting that the kit almost tricked with their eyes given just how much it feels like it has been plucked out of Minecraft’s iconic world.

MARVEL'S SPIDER-MAN

There had been dozens of Spider-Man games released prior to 2018, but the combined forces of Insomniac, Sony and Marvel set out to release a new take on everyone’s favourite webslinger that blew away everything that had come before it. So we were proud when we were approached to create an influencer kit that reflected the bold new world, story and identity of Marvel’s Spider Man on PlayStation.

We created two editions of the kit, with 1000 VIP editions presented within a bespoke backpack - Peter Parker’s own and an in-game collectible item - whilst the 1250 standard editions were presented in a distinctive web styled tactile clamshell. Both kits included references to the game’s storyline, alongside exclusive Spider-Man merchandise created in-house by the Fluid team.

Working to a tight timeframe, the kits were produced, fulfilled and dispatched to over 30 territories across the globe - including the New York launch event - ahead of the game’s release. The final kits gained wide coverage, with fantastic feedback from the client, recipients and social media followers.
