Ravensburger tasked Fluid with creating a motion asset that was exciting, flexible, and premium enough to be deployed across multiple media channels - from social platforms to pre-roll cinema ads for Zootopia 2. Our creative needed to capture the unique special finishes of each card, drawing viewers into the magical world of Lorcana and serving as a full CGI showcase for the biggest names in storytelling.

Managed end-to-end and in-house by Fluid, the project spanned art direction, CGI, VFX, post-production, and the creation of brand assets. From Ariel’s iridescent foils to Tinker Bell’s signature sparkles, faithfully recreating each design was both complex and challenging. Bringing the rarest and most desirable cards to life meant capturing the unique finish of each special card - the team developed custom particle simulations, designing bespoke VFX sparkles carefully matched to brand colours. The end result is a stunning showcase of Fluid’s artistry and technical mastery, bringing the magic of Lorcana to life in every sparkle, foil, and detail.
