POWER CONSUMER PRODUCT STYLE GUIDE
Power is a gritty, yet epic American crime caper brought to us by Lionsgate and Starz entertainment. Power is a grisly and beautiful insight into the underbelly of New York. Two worlds collide in the melting pot as the pressure of the city tests all allegiances- from the glamor of Manhattan's clubs to the brutality of its backstreets, Power is smorgesh board of tense and gorgeously engaging atmosphere.
We were asked by Lionsgate to develop a trend lead fashion style guide that could help activate the decadence, culture, class and fashion that permeates through Power.
We wanted to go bold. Crashing together the scenic and bright with the hidden and dark to honour the core theme of the show. This lead us to hidden imagery around violence, drugs and other adult themes stitched into awe inspiring shots. We achieved this without hollowing the raw elegance of Powers core brand.
THE ART OF PROVOCATION
We did not shy away from using provocative, adult imagery of New York's seedy underbelly to communicate the show's themes.
